usual design cycle of specificaton, circuit design, pcb layout,
prototypes, pre-production run, production run is a tried
and tested method. If software is required this again is built
in the usual design cycle.

Most,
if not all of it. We are fortunate to run our own products
through the same design cycle as new customer requirements.
Can
I buy a finished product from you?
Yes,
if you want. Or we complete a product manufacturing package
so you can shop elsewhere. We keep stock of common passives
and logic so can be competitive on price.
What
edge do you have on competitors?
An
example : We have had more requirements for microprocessor
controlled systems. The problem with firmware is once the
factory code is installed, what happens if you want to change
a feature. We include USB pen firmware update as a standard
where applicable. Avoid product recall, email the new code,
copy onto a USB pen drive and let the unit update itself.
Not a new concept in itself but technology is allowing smaller
and smaller projects to benefit from this future-proofing.
